Boundaries
Personal continuity involves sensitive records, consequential decisions, and other people’s rights. These boundaries define what Joola will build and where the responsible person or professional must take over.
Joola designs supporting systems. It does not provide legal, tax, investment, fiduciary, or estate-planning advice, draft instruments with legal effect, or act as executor or trustee. Lawyers and other qualified advisers determine the relevant documents, authority, and obligations. A summary or runbook is not a substitute for their advice.
Joola does not hold or recover assets, take custody of credentials, sign transactions, or move funds. Private keys, seed phrases, passwords, and recovery codes stay outside the harness and its AI inputs. Digital-estate work is limited to agreed context, record references, contacts, and human-reviewed orientation alongside counsel.
We name the principal, maintainer, reviewers, and permitted recipients. Family relationship or the principal’s absence does not itself grant access. Any route for incapacity or death must be established with the appropriate advisers. Unclear consent, conflicting instructions, or disputed authority stops the affected work.
Begin with a general description. Before access, we agree which records may be used, who may see them, where they are processed, and retention, deletion, and access-revocation arrangements. Use redacted or synthetic material where possible and grant only the access needed. External AI providers and their data terms must be reviewed and agreed before private material reaches them. No blanket promise of secrecy or perfect security is made.
AI can omit context, misread a record, or produce an unsupported claim. Sources and uncertainty must remain visible. Consequential decisions and external actions stay with authorised people. Missing records, stale inputs, and failed checks need explicit stop rules; source content cannot grant new permissions. Evaluation records limits as well as successful checks.
Joola does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, clinical monitoring, or emergency response. Health care and clinical decisions belong with qualified professionals. This practice does not offer a health product or a system to rely on in an emergency.
A handover is not a guarantee that a system will remain current, available, or usable in every future situation. Records, relationships, access, and services change. We agree a maintainer, a review cadence, a readable fallback, and known dependencies. Ongoing support and monitoring require a separate agreement; this is not an emergency or on-call service.
The optional contact brief creates a local text file. Its answers are not sent to Joola, persisted by the application, or tracked. The site includes no analytics or external fonts. If you choose to email, that message passes through email providers. Do not send sensitive records or secrets in a first inquiry; agree a suitable exchange method before sharing private material.
